First Presbyterian Church is located at 1314 12th Street, Altoona, PA 16601. First church was founded in 1851, and was the first church building to be built in the city.

Both First Presbyterian Church and Broad Ave. Presbyterian Church have passed a motion to merge as one body. As this period of transformation, uncertainity, and excitment unfolds, both congregations are embracing a new vision that will enhance the life of the church. The joint Session for both churches have decided to begin worshipping as one congregation on a regular basis. The schedule is as follows:
